Hi Chrispea   :D

Slugs and snails will eat them when they are still in bud or half closed so when they open they have lots of little holes. Like when you fold a piece of paper into quarters and cut bits out then open it to make a snowflake design.

Do you have Muntjak deer in your area?
They are very distructive.

Hey Chrispea, I have the same problem. My Tete a Tete look like something has sat beside them and enjoyed a jolly good feed from the edges to the middle.
I thought it might be rabbits but it could be foxes I suppose although they are a bit small for a fox to nibble.
Nice to know something got some pleasure from them, anyhow !!! ::)

Slugs got the daffs I had planted in the ground, to be honest it almost isn't worth growing them direct into the soil for me. Had some lovely displays in pots though, so will concentrate more on those next year.

Slugs and snails have really been a problem this year, they will totally destroy the whole flower. I once lost a lot of good blooms after I had cut them and was keeping them in a bucket for a show.I found in the end that very small snails were living just under the lip and feasting each night.
