I know I've seen them before but can't remember what they are. Some sort of lily perhaps??  ???

It looks very much like Curcuma alismatifolia- a member of the ginger family, commonly known as Siam Tulip.

I have seen these sold in nurseries for exorbitant fees as 'flowerer's of the moment'

One thing I was told was never buy them off the street sellers cos they hate draft!!  Is this so?
