That last one is a stunner!  Makes me long for tulips in my garden.  Do you have to dig them up each year or like daffs, can you plonk them in and forget about them?

most of mine are in pots but i think they prefer to be planted a fresh every year........but i'm lazy & i leave them insitu

EJ you can leave them for 3-4 years then they deteriorate so pick em up and split em up. Ideally earlier rather than later but I have some that are quite naturalised. Interestingly I had red ones and yellow ones which are now streaked yellow/red/orange. Still lovely. they must cross-pollinate.
