Anyone know where to get cheap sheds from? ;D
Hello ramblehan,
Do you have a garden or a plot? If a garden, some associations can help, or you might be offered a neighbour's shed when they upgrade - for free, they will want rid of it.
Or try this:

Good luck, and welcome to A4a :)
do you have a Freecycle website in your area? They are a great place to find all sorts of stuff - you can also post wanted notices too.

Hi
You could also try ebay (where I found mine) or you could try Sarah's approach and try to blag a shed at a large DIY store i.e., one that is damaged and can't be sold.
then you just need a van to transport it ;D
Good luck
Or if you are capable and can get enough scrap timber (pallets are a good source), then you could try making your own, not as hard as it might sound, but it will take effort and time.
Being a bit of a cheapskate I'm going along with the venerable Curry's suggestion and building a shed (very slowly) from reclaimed wood (mainly pallets). However, if you want instant results (and as much as I hate to plug capitalist pigdog organisations) B&Q are currently doing a 6x4 for £80... not exactly cheap though, is it. Ah well, you could always try putting an order in with the Cosmos (a la Noel Edmonds!)
Thanks, we can definately not afford a new one, so some form of blagging is in order. Thanks for the tips...will see what i can hunt out in the local area. Cheers.
Mine was built from those sheets they board vandalised shop windows up with, second hand of course. It's horrible stuff but very cheap, and if you paint it with bitumen - well mine's done seven years and is still like new, as it were. I think it was a fiver a sheet (8ft x 4ft) plus another fiver for delivery. ;D
Geoff.
