Great news lorna, so he will be rich as well as famous and good looking eh ;) What was his film?
How to be rich, famous and good-looking? ;) :P
Lorna, that's brilliant, really pleased for your family. Isn't the internet wonderful the way you can get news like that so easily? :)
Lorna is (obviously) too excited to let us know what the film is called. I've had a nosy on the Beverly Hills Film Fest Web site and the only Galvin I can find is responsible for a film called 'Brother'
'Brother' is a psychological thriller that introduces us to 3 characters and their bleak pasts and future. Told from the point of view of 'Son', the film shows us differing time frames of a crime that has been committed, the preparation and the awful reality of having to confess to the person closest to you
Excellent news Lorna and if Galvin needs a bald, overweight, Northern bloke to play the romantic lead opposite, say, Jennifer Aniston or Halle Berry for his next pic then he need look no further ;D ;D ;D
Sorry folk, daughter and son-in-law turned up.
Pete is quite correct the films title is Brother, Galvin (Davis) wrote, acted and directed the film.
Quite agree ladies he is quite "fit" (modern day terminology LOL?) but of course I am biased.
Pete will put your name forward, and if he has got a Grandmother's part I am first in the queue!!!! ;D
Thanks for all your kind comments.
Lorna.
The other terms would be, "hunk", "smokin", "dish" and "geet lush". Can I bagsy anything with George Clooney in Lorna. You must be very proud. :D busy_lizzie
Yep really proud, he has worked so hard so we are all hoping that the contacts/agencies etc will bear fruit for him (excuse the pun!!). As Tulippa said Internet is a wonderful thing. I emailed him to send congratulations and within 10mins he had answered my mail..
I had better make a list of A4A members who would be willing to take part in future films..... providing the right co stars are found. ;D
I bet his wife and two little boys can't wait for him to get home to Australia..
Hopefully I will see them later in the year, they usually manage to come over at least once a year.
