I did Tim, and posted pics! Not many ripened, I think it was to late in the season and the night time temps dropped, along with the humidity.  However, there were enough for us all to enjoy them!

Nothing like the artificially ripened bananas we buy here, so much smoother, delicate, sweeter, DELICIOUS! The mumma and her babies have now been repotted into a rather sexy half oak barrel, so I am hoping for another harvest this summer!

Wow!! :) They look brilliant, my OH would love a plant like that, might get a conservatory if he thought he could grow his own bananas!

Wow, I'd love to grow my own bananas. If only to feel all smug and eco-friendly that they didn't need to travel halfway across the world to get to my plate..

Mm, I definitely need to get growing some exotics. Maybe kiwi fruit..

But Kiwis are not that exotic? They grow quite well  over here.
