It's Iberian Wight.

What? Don't yet know - white rot is normally at the bottom?

And these are in a new raised bed!!

Oh good grief - again!

The fluff on the back clove looks suspiciously blue, so could that be normal mould and not necessarily white rot?
Are you in the RHS? You could send it in and request identification of the problem!

Oh, Hawkeye!!  Yes, the mould on the top one is bluey - but the main one is snow white.

No  - not a member - nor, any longer of HDRA, sadly - so I'm just hoping that, being on the top rather than the base, it may not be the rot.
