Title: Potenhilla Fruiticosa

I bought & planted about 30 of these plants, bare-rooted, last October, to serve as a hedge along a new sandy mound (spoil from my pond). They are now about 2ft high with a lot of buds. Should I prune these now, or leave them alone for this year?

I would be inclined to leave them - my own are rarely pruned.
