Chionodoxa, Glory of the Snow.
Oh Eric, that is so beautiful, thank you. Mine (planted last Autumn) only have one flower each. Will they be become multi-stemmed as they age?

Georgie, I only planted these last autumn too and they've just started coming through, I wondered what they were at first before I searched through the packets.
These three blooms are all on the same plant. I ran out and checked when I read your post.
I think I must have a pink one :o is this possible?
Hi Mrs KP, lovely pic. :) Since my last post I've got some double-headed blooms coming through now too.
Hi Flowerlady. Eric was telling me the other night that he is after a pink variety which is quite rare. Looks like you might be his saviour. ;)

Chionodoxa Pink Giant is easily obtianed and fairly common. The one I was looking for is one called WHITE Giant.
Ooops. I stand corrected. :-[

i'd never heard of them before (there's a lot i've never heard about before if the truth be known ;D), i think my pack of bulbs were free with the news of the world for heaven's sake :o
only wish i'd planted them in a bunch altogether rather than hither and thither. once they die down, all the spring bulbs are getting lifted and grouped for greater effect.
glad you got your multis , Georgie ;D
I love chionodoxa - have got them all over my rockery and last autumn bought another pack to plant among a lot of tete-a-tete narcissi at the lottie.
Going to do that again at home - the combination works extremely well!
