Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and my family.

We are a chaotic family of five. Myself and my husband, our two little boys aged 4 and 1 and a very bouncy 12 week old border collie called Megan.
We are very lucky to live opposite our allotment in a beautiful village in Northamptonshire and have had the allotment for 2 years.

It's really my baby, and as I had only grown tomatoes in pots before this, it has certainly been a steep learning curve, which I'm sure will continue for many years to come!

So, I really look forward to getting to know you all and , of course, learning as much as I can from you all.

Hi HC Big welcome to you and your family. I am a complete novice especially where veg are concerned. I expect that's why Rosebud has given me the job of supplying and handing out biscuits. She is such a good organiser,LOL ;D

Hey there Hippy Chick, welcome, look forward to hearing about your progress ... I'm a new lottier, as was proved at the w/e when I had to dig up my shallots - yep I intentionally, but mistakenly, burried them in December. Expect its the first of many mistakes, but everyone here is helpful, friendly and very patient ! Love to see some photos of your site.

Check out the pumpkin and sunflower competitions - even your kids might be tempted to help.
