Have found red alert to be exceptional for the past 3 years.

Early cropping and a great taste, with no side shoot pinching out.

Perfect for the plot.

Maybe a little late for this year though!!!

Grow really well on my plot and taste delicious.
I go back to them every year as they are so reliable amd require little attention
Really worth a try.  Got my seed from Willis this year but have had success from organic seed co.  Will save you some if you want

My neighbour always grows about half a dozen of these, outside. He says the flavour is fairly tame, but they always give a crop before anything else, and that is why he grows them. As soon as other tomatoes start appearing, he just leaves them. He has given me a few to try, and I have to agree on the flavour - nothing special.
