And it seems there is a bit of a veg emphasis for at least part of the program.

"Monty gives us a tour of Berryfields and updates us on the progress of the nation's favourite garden. He's busy with the vegetable garden, and has big plans for sowing and planting new crops. It's also time to get the viewers' trial - chillies from seed - up and running, and a look at the progress of Tulipwatch."

Interesting about the chilli farm! Last year we bought some fresh chillis from these guys at Totnes farmers market. Have just been on their website and guess what??? the chilli farm is right where we are staying on holiday next week!!!!! they do open days too.  :) :) :)

p.s   forgot!!! If there are peeps near Exeter, the chilli farm have a stall at the food festival this weekend!!!

they've got a website here http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/ . They sell seeds, so that's something to bear in mind for next year.

my last years  hungarian hot wax was miniscule in comparison.

i loved the magnolia garden.  all my tulips are about right though, and i was pleased to find my chitted tats look more or less spot on.

can't wait for crack of dawn tomorrow  ;D
