Hi Mystic, just loved the piccies. I just loved New Orleans. Went there about 27 years ago. Looking at all the photos has brought back a lot of memories, Bourbon Street, all the jazz, Pat O'Brians (dont know if that is still there) going on the paddle steamer Natchez. Eating jambali and file gumbo outside a fab resteraunt with trees covered in Spanish moss. Sighhhh such a lovely place. Have to say that Mardi Gras piccie number 16 deffo gets my vote. :-* Shame about number 6 did you really have to put that one in, that was below the belt ;D :P
;D N0 6 below the belt ;D Excellent..not nice pic though :( Bit spotty ;)
Did you see the one with the guys dressed in spanish moss? Mardi Gras 3 - there was none left on the trees in the park, but they looked great.
Pat O'Briens is still there, and still as popular, and Bourbon street is the maddest place I've ever been...
I got a cuddle of Mr No 16 - he was gay and he was ALL man ;D
Fab pics matey! Wow! And some of those 'boys'. Wow, haven't seen chaps like that since I left work! Great sights too, not just the bare bottoms, I mean streets and buildings and stuff. Fanks for sharing them wiv us all like! :-*
Yo MM, Now how did I know that no 6 would be gay. Maybe it is just the 'gay-dar' alert ;D
Great Photos Mystic. What a fab holiday you must have had. intriguing sights and sounds. You must have been googly eyed by the end of it. busy_lizzie ::) ::)
8) great pics mystic, what was the food like?
samxx
Fantastic photos. Love the buildings in New Orleans - so colourful and cheery. I remember the cemetary in Easy Rider (must watch that again soon).
Have avoid the chaps ones, though, as I'm at work.
But I used to have a pair of chaps like that - threw them out because they fell to pieces due to overuse!
The food was FAB sam, and I'm 3/4 stone heavier to prove it...
Fresh oysters and shrimp were just amazing, and the jambalaya there is v v yummy - I brought back some jambalaya seasoning so I can have a bash meself.
Best thing in world is their fave desert is....bread pudding!!! Just like me mum makes.
Am now fat person and must stop enthusing about food - but if you like seafood and spices, N'Awlins is for you ;D
Got any pics of the chaps aquilegia? ;D
my idea of a good holiday is to absolutley stuff myself with yummy food , sounds fantastic, i love that creole spicy seafood and chicken........just yum yum, yum lucky you

Got any pics of the chaps aquilegia? ;D
probably somewhere. I think you might be a little disappointed, though!
I got some good recipes Minerva, will stick them in recipe bit (although not much veg going on in N'Awlins).
Go on aquilegia, you know you want to, post that pic ;D
the dirtiest thing about my chaps pic is the horse pooh stains! (legitimate chaps really - always wore jodhpurs and undies under them - hence the disappointment). I did get some rather strange looks, though, when I wore them with my beige jodhpurs!
Great piccies MM sure know how to have fun .
I wore a pair of chaps once too Aqui but it had nothing to do with horse riding!!!!!!! ::) ::)
Great pics MM ;D Very colourful - what an experience. Thanks for sharing them :D :)
~OOhhh Eileen - you dark horse.... ;D
Good pic's MM. How did you create a working link to your pic's I've tried but it doesn't work? This is my link.

Hi Ken - if you go into my albums, then select the albums you want people to see, just email yourself the link by going to the album tools on the right, and clicking Send to - family and friends. When the email arrives, copy the link and paste it wherever you want it to go...easy peesy.
Good luck x
You are so Lemon Squeezy, MM. I'll give that a go after I finish off sowing the onion, lettuce and sweatpeas. Cheers.
