Has anyone tried fita slug stoppa granules? And do you know if they are okay to use on vegetables? Many thanks P
Never heard of those. Where are they available from?
I have -they work. There's no harm to veg. You need to apply them thickly and make sure that there's no soil showing and no leaves touching outside the circle. I haven't tried them outside -only on the greenhouse beds. One trick I do especially with cucumbers is to put the plant in a circle cut from old drinks bottles and put a layer of slug-stoppa in that, belt & braces.
I used them last summer around various things in the garden, they seemed to work okay as a barrier. They did need topping up fairly frequently but that's because of the local cats!
Cheers,
Rob ;)
