...March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers!  ;D Have had both today!!!!! I think Spring is almost here!  ;D Dan

Considering the bitter start to the month, it seems to be holding true.

Ah me, oh yes and HAIL!   How often have I been holed up in th shed with a flask  of luke warm tea, watching the hail!

At least the "March coming in like a Lion and Going out like a Lamb" bit seems to be coming true.  We started off with snow and ice at the start of March and the weather, thankfully, has warmed up considerably here and is going out like a lamb in comparison.  All the signs of Spring are here now.  It rained yesterday though and we had showers today, so I am hoping it is not running too true to form by having to suffer the  April Showers part. :) busy_lizzie

Roy I thought that it was 'the north wind doth blow and we shall have snow'?  but I could be wrong.  ???

Odd that...when I first saw the thread I thought "March wind doth blow..." before deciding it was "North..."

Must be a Birmingham thing ::) 8)

Maybe its the right saying down in Brum Lishka??   I know how these 'sayings' get a bit twizled as you go around the country.  ;)
