- I just have to share it. It could help.
Daughter 'flicked' a few drops of water over her computer and it crashed - full of unbacked-up business information, potentially financially disastrous. I have not slept easy for several days.
So - tonight we learn that 'the chap' has recovered all the information. I could not be more grateful for today's expertise. = Tim
Would you have ever though, say 30 years ago, that you would loose sleep over a computer?
Glad things turned out fine.
HI TIM so glad everything has turned out wel for your daughter :D
thank goodness for these clever people. i can imagine how worried you must have been so tonight you can sleep like a baby. ;)
cheers Rosebud
Computers? 30 years ago I bought one of the first calculators- LED - £32 - and, guess what - it did add, subtract, multiply & divide. And all the senior chaps in my bit of the MoD came to view it!!! Is it all for the better??
But I do still use a PSION organiser, for which I wrote a costing program, which I could not survive without. = Tim
I had one of those calculators Tim and I was fascinated by it. I was used to using big adding machines and a huge accounts machine at work, so it was tiny by comparison.
It was green!
What I meant to add is that, in real terms, that money today would buy a PC!!!
Funny world? = Tim
