I've just bought a new Dell 17" flat Monitor, and able to change resolution from 800x600 to 1280x1024. Before I start muddling thru this ,can anyone tell me the advantages.
Have got the thing rigged up at present with large icons and large print, tho seem to have a lot of scrolling to do all the time, otherwise ideal.
Would it be worth changing ??

yes its worth changing,the higher the resolution the more detail you should see.
Also like you mentioned a lot of the scrolling will no longer be required.

Yes Diesel, thank you.......got it going...aint it good...can see evrything now...minimal scrolling.
Need to re-customise the font and size etc.......Copperplate Gothic Bold, extra large. ;D
