Title: Cow Manure

I have been offered a dozen bags of cow manure by a friendly farmer and i just wondered if its any good to use? eg is it any better or worse than horse manure?

Cow manure is considered to be better than horse and chicken better than cow.

Depends on your soil type and what you are growing, none of them are "better" than the others, justy different

ANY manure is better than no manure! I'd bite his hand off  8)
If it's fresh, let it sit for 6 months to a year before you use it.
Don't forget exotic animal poo as seen in the Pumpkin Competition Chat! ;D ;D ;D

Cow manure is usually what the farmers use.......So I'd go for it if I were you.
