I'm thinking of offering this for sale. http://www.dpreview.com/news/0507/05072802fuji_s5200zs5600z.asp
Age? October 2005
Reason? Bought specifically on assumption that its SLR feature gave a sharp focussing screen - as in 'real' SLRs - for daughter's portrait work. But it is digital (or whatever you call it) like our others.
Condition? Unmarked.
If anyone is interested, I'll say more.
For some reason the digitals don't seem to have the focusing help like split screen that older SLRs have - dunno why! Seems silly. I think dearer ones might do, but then they really are stupidly expensive.

Tim, I am very interested to see you are pleased with your Cannon Powershot, as I am just looking into buying a digital camera. I have always had either Canon or Olympus (non digital) in the past and the Powershot seems to have a good writeup. I don't know anyone with one to was glad to see your posting. Thank you.
See PM.
