It's St Patrick's Day today, I bet some of you out there have got quirky, religious planting ideas for this day. I remember reading a thread that an irish guy planted his potatoes on this day, don't know how, would've thought they'd all be in the pub with the black stuff ;) ;D ;D ;)
Being Irish I was keen to get my potatoes in on this special day. I even took a half day off work. However, when I got down to the lottie all of the old boys advised me against planting today as it's too cold
.... and I thought it was all about the drinking?
Have you noticed the wee fella in green next to the A4A logo at the top of the screen?! ;D
Yes Heldi, there is another St Patrick's thread in the shed - to be sure !!!
Sure and Liverpool is the home from home o' the Irish.
I thought it was peas that were traditionally sown on St Patrick's Day! Goes to show what I know! ???
