Title: Guinea pig manure!
Post by: caroline7758 on March 14, 2006, 18:30:02
I have just seen an ad on ebay where a charity which looks after animals is selling guinea pig manure. Any idea how good this would be as a soil improver? If you're interested, here's the link:

That sounds like the start of a joke .... answers on a postcard to .....!

Seriously we have two GP's but most of the stuff gets thrown as there is usually too much sawdust in the mix (takes too long to compost) and we have a regular supply of horse manure.

Tho i could give one of the kids the jobs of sorting out the good bits!
