Title: onion sets
Post by: sarah on March 14, 2006, 13:09:54
Hi all. A week or two back i bought some cheap onion sets from wilkos. The bag of white ones seem  firm and healthy but the bag of red ones feel kind of empty and hollow. not firm. the are not mouldy or anything, but i am not sure if they are any good or not.  Do you think i should get some others or will they bee ok?

Cut a couple open & check? Reds are a bit funny.
If in doubt, put them in very close to each other to save room?
