GW What a lovely pic. Glad we haven't got the white stuff though!! My Mr and Mrs Blackbird are happy feeding on my small lawn.

OK they've got fresh fatballs, peanuts, generic mixed birdseed, sunflower seeds and a couple of pears. That should do for now!
The birds are just finding their new feeding places. Too much snow to the table feeders so got the seed placed on the back doorstep along with bread crumbs. To the front of the house I have put out a heap of seed within the front door area. At least they are being fed. ::) ::)
I've used the windowledges which I cleared of snow and the covered bird table.
We have no snow at all here in Essex. It all looks so lovely when it first snows.It sounds as though all your birds are being well looked after, i am getting so cross with the wood pidgeons here eating everything in sight i put lots of food out enough for all well at least that is the idea but the blooming greedy guts just eat the lot my poor little ones do not get much of a look in. Any ideas anyone to stop them we have a feeding station which is very open.
i have a small covered birdtable - they can perch on the roof but they can't bend over far enough to get at the food. It's actually quite comical watching them try. I also use small plastic feeders for stuff like sunflower seeds which they find it difficult to balance on and an enclosed one - little birds can get in but they can't.
Apart from that I spread out stuff for them that they can access if the squirrels don't get it first! ;)
Yes we had quite an array of birds looking for their brekkie too...
pair of mistle thrushes, small residential colony of sparrows,
pair of collared doves, pair of woodpigeons, starlings and a fieldmouse.
