Post by: Emm P on March 08, 2006, 17:53:59
I can't for the life of me remember the name of this.
Could someone please put me out of my misery.

Campanula of some description- cant really see height of the plant but there are many - if short it looks like 'harebell'  - 'Campanula rotundifolia'
to me

I thought Campanula - but it doesn't look like the ones in my book.
::)
I will try doing a search, and see what rotundifolia brings up.
Thanks

I'd agree with Campanula rotundifolia :)

Without a leaf it is hard to distinguish between many campanulas.

Definitely a campanula. Try the picture of rotundifolia here (click small pic to enlarge):

Thanks all.
As soon as I got the name, I did a search - and sure enough, that is what it is.

I love them. I have some little'uns at the back door that have flowered all winter. Sitting at breakfast you could look out at the cold winter wasteland with little purple and blue bells nodding just outside.
