I seem to remember reading a thread or a link that had guides to what different weeds meant for the quality of your soil. Can anyone remember what it was? I've just had shepherd's purse and honesty identified for me on my plot and would like to know what they mean before I hoik them all out! :D

These are the two links I have, don't know if they are any use.
It would be useful to have some sort of chart wouldn't it? A really charming book on weeds came via a recommendation from an A4a-er, Audrey Wynne Hatfield's How to Enjoy your Weeds - I forked out 0.1p plus postage via Amazon, Froogle lists it from £1.74 http://froogle.google.co.uk/froogle?q=how+to+enjoy+your+weeds&btnG=Search+Froogle. However, you only sometimes get habitat info, not consistently.
useful links tulippa, of these them gives sticky Willie as an alternative name for goosegrass/cleavers ::)
