Anyone been to this show? I am driving up to scotland the weekend of this show, so wonder whether to go up a day early and visit on the Friday...
Is there a veggie show (as the Malvern flower show has) as part of it, or is it entirely flowers?

Hi Mat,
Yes it's well worth a visit, lots of veg on display' and various societies with stands to visit. I will be there on stand FHC6 in the Flower Hall Collanade. Garden Antics. You can easily spend the whole day there.

Thanks Brian. I saw a veggie show for the first time at the Malvern autumn show last year - I couldn't believe the size of the veg ::) carrots as long as parsnips - i.e. as tall as me!! I might well take an extra day off work.

Mat,
Send me your address by personal message(PM), and I will send you a leaflet on the show that has a telephone booking line to pre-book tickets at a reduced price, I think you save £2 on a ticket. Bring lots of cash, the place is full of specialist nurseries, and sundries stalls!
Brian
Thanks for the offer, however I already have the number from the website which as you say is £2 off if phoning for tickets before 18th April (£10 instead of £12.) For others interested, web address is http://www.flowershow.org.uk/index.php?page=2&PHPSESSID=2863dc6231a2a78bc4364af27ce8afcf
Umm, lots of cash? I think I have spent most of it on seeds :( maybe I can get some overtime... then again, I don't have time for overtime as I am on the lottie!!! I think I may need to "lend" myself some money ;D

Hi Mat,
Glad you got the link, I was suggesting cash for two reasons, there's tons of stuff to buy, and I've learned from my customers that trying to get cash from the on-site banking facility is expensive, (I don't accept plastic, though many exhibitors do).
Brian
Good point about the cash machines!
