just picked up 10 hostas for £3.99 at morrisons  :) :) :) :) :) ;)

2 green gold
2 blue cadet
2 albomarginata
2 coerula blue
2 golden tiara

Were they single crowns, bare rooted, or plugs?

bare rooted, fair size, good roots in a bag with compost.

Thats the only plus side to this dry weather, I've managed to grow a couple with no slug effects. In fact they've really bloomed and flowered well.

You might have dry weather, but in Cornwall we rarely do >:(

It always seems soggy here, I swear the cat is developing webbed feet ;)

:D  found 1 packet left just potted them up  all have shoots on , all 11 of
them  Have tried growing them before me 0 slugs6  this time I will keep
them in pots with copper round  (pan scourers unravelled) it worked with
pansies last year  Time will tell
