Title: Broad Beans
Post by: pakaba on February 26, 2006, 15:41:09
Hi
I have planted some broad beans in some cells and automatically  put them inside my mini greenhouse, inside the house.   I did this on Thursday, and i think they are starting to germinate already.  Should I have put them in the unheated greenhouse, and if so would it be ok for me to move them now.   ???

cheers :D

It is my opinion that broad beans are sufficiently tough that they will not be checked significantly by the temperature change. They see far worse excursions when in the ground. However, having said that, I will not be embarrassed to be proved wrong, at least the correct answer should be forthcoming !
