Brassica bed, cabbage, cauliflower and lettuce
lettuce already, which variety is that, looks good.
Amaaazing!!
That looks fantastic... but learning from my last years mistake I'm not hurrying to put anything in the ground. We're in for a very very cold week.

Definitely impressive for this time of year. I am also playing safe though, and little will be happening during this week.

;D Tee hee ;D you are a plonka ;D ;D ;D
I sowed the cabbage & cauliflower seed in pots in the greenhouse last year and planted out last November, so they are well adjusted, but all they did was kind of just sit there. It's only in the last few days that they seem sightly larger, that's why I said things are beginning to happen. Of course it could be wishful thinking. The lettuce has spent the last 10 days in a coldframe hardening off. Planted out last Friday, probably too soon, but I need to try to learn. Also still got 20+ in the greenhouse.
PS The greenhouse is unheated
Things are starting here also. I always preach patience but even I almost gave up with some sowings in heated propagators three weeks ago. The seeds were a bit old and needed longer to get going-a bit like me really :)
lovely shot there MikeB.
and has given me some ideas for a redundant gazebo that was only used once and kinda fell down.

Mike, that's well impressive 8)
I have just looked at the weather forcast for the next 5 days, and for Thursday it is forcasting -5o for the Halifax area, so I would not risk my lovely plants outside.
It has been very cold here for over a week now, and the daytime temperature has not got above 5o. We have a NE wind so we could still have some snow.
