Title: Spiders
Post by: Common_Clay on February 24, 2006, 02:18:15
If you're not logged in and enter this site, it says there are 6 spiders online, google spider, yahoo spider, ask jeeves spider, etc... Big Brother is watching you?

The spider is a program that searches, its like when you are on google looking for an allotment site and it sends a spider out to look for one,Its probably how you found the site in the first place. They aren't watching you just doing searches for other people.

Hi Diesel,

Don't know of Raimundo (thanks for the link), are they good? It's got to be better than mine, which was a tenner from the charity shop... the intonation is so out, it hurts. Been playing long?
:)

I like the sound of mine :D

I tried a few in the shop before I settled on this one.(was there for about 4 hours trying stuff out)

I have been playing classical since October 04 but I rarely get time to practice so I am not very good, my teacher reckons im a 'comfortable' grade 2 :D I havent sat any exams yet tho too busy with work related exams atm, maybe next year.

4 hours, that's a long time, must have had an amazing collection! Haven't bought a guitar for years, but mainly play my 12-string acoustic I have or my electric. I haven't a clue on what grades are what, so grade 2 doesn't mean much, but being described as 'comfortable' at anything is pretty good!  ;D
Hope you get more time to play, I'm just trying to get back into playing more myself.

Ken
when I am playing theres a good chance that it will kill anything in earshot  :P

Clay I bought the guitar here - http://www.classicalguitar.co.uk/company/index.html

If you see the woman playing on the left you get an idea of how many guitars they have the walls are lined with them, I was in that room but they have another 3 or so like that, not to mention the main shop downstairs. These rooms are where you try out guitars so you tell them what you are after and they leave you in there to play untill you decide. Its a great service and no pressure on you to buy, they even keep you stocked up with coffee while you play :D

There are nearly 200 spammers -mainly from China- trying to join the forum every DAY at the moment. I suspect this is related?!?
