I know, I know, no caps, but I'm excited! I have a little bitty allotment! ;D I got a letter from the council today. plot 108, five rods (?).
We are going down at the weekend to have a look at it. Bouncing now! ;D ;D ;D
;D ;D ;D ;D
How exciting!!!! I remember how that felt when I got mine!! Couldnt sleep, spent all my money on stuff for the plot etc etc!!
Enjoy it!!!
;)

carl
I'm very excited. Don't have to figure out how to get sweetcorn into the garden now. Along with everything else I've been stockpiling on the off chance ;)
I'm using my incredible psychic powers and predicting I'll be doing a lot of digging over the next few weeks...
Congratulations!! ;D
Now the graft begins .. all VERY exciting ... but remember ... little and often ;D
ENJOY. Talk soon. FLx
Congratulations.
It doesnt sound much when you say 5 rods ;D but it will seem like a football field once you start digging. Remember to take your time.
I have two suggestions:
Invest in large quantities of porage outs for breakfast, and large quantities of Radox for afterwards.
Good luck.
Whoo hoo.
Happy Digging, and Good Growing Bananagirl
does this mean you will get the boss's shed now?
Nah, unfortunately, he's already given it away, although it's still sitting in it's box at the back of the stage.
You never know, I might already have a shed.
Woo hoo ;D ;D ;D bananagirl, great news! Hope this is the start of many seasons of fun with your plot. Take it steady! If you leave off your glasses couch grass looks a lot like green manure ;). Pics asap please!
Congratulations on your new plot! I only got my plot a few weeks ago so I know the feeling well! I am still in the weeding stage and am convinced some days that the weeds are winning, but I am enjoying it even more than I thought I would. My advice would be if you drink tea, then make sure you have a flask to take some with you!
Have fun and please post pics!
wow we wish you many many happy hours of weeding sowing weeding and eating oh yes and then some more weeding lol ;D ;D ;D
Congratulations ;D Hope you have fun.
The best bit is having a bench and a cup of coffee and making plans!!!
My flatmate and I are going to visit it on Sunday, so I will take my camera along for the ride, and get the pics up as soon as. Very excited. :o
You've certainly got your lottie at the right time for the start of the season. Should be great fun!
Woo hoo ..you got your plot, you got your plot !
Well done to you ;D a great time to start the season off too ;) Plant a banana plant to mark your territory ;D you may get lucky and grow some, especially if you're in Aussyland or was it London ???
Enjoy ;D

Congratulations and goodluck.
I can remember what I was like last year, when I got my lottie. Like a kid let loose in a sweet shop.
Enjoy it. It;s worth all the hard work.
Let us know how you get on
Ok, so I went down, and now there is a pic on my blogsite...more to come next week, probably...yay!

Congrats on the lottie hun Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy !!
You will love it and the produce tastes soooooo sweet when you have made it grow and cared for it yourself Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy !!!!!!!
Congratulations, don't forget to check the 'methods of cultivation' pages on the Wiki.
Hello, you sound like me when I got ours a couple of weeks ago. Congratulations they are fantastic little peace havens.
Cant wait to start growing, just waiting for seedlings to grow.
We were lucky and got a massive shed with integral greenhouse and the best bit..... a woodburning stove!!!! I love it!
I guess I'm the baby of the family then, as I've had my allotment for...oh, about four hours now!
It's a half plot and I'm going to see it for the first time tomorrow. Sounds odd, taking it 'sight unseen', but I understand it's been cultivated until recently, so... we'll see! Besides, I'm not afraid of hard work to get it how I want it...
... now where did I put those servants...
;D
We bounced a bit when we heard we got our allotment! ;D
Then came the mad rush of buying and reading things and suddenly finding things like left over stuff in skips interesting! If you'd told me a few months ago that I would be shovelling horse manure out of my own choice and enjoying it, I would've said that you were mad! :D
