It is snowing really heavy here and laying too. Yippeeeee ;D
SNOW! We havn't got any :( ! I REALLY wan't some!
Its not snowing here in southampton, but I been up the lottie since 12, just got back and had 4-5 hailstone showers.
One was quite hevy, had to dive into the shed for cover....lol
Did go to the lottie this morning but there have been very heavy "sunny" showers off and on then this afternoon the hailstones were literally bouncing >:(
Still snowing in this area and everything is white.
We had the odd snow shower this afternoon, but it melted in about five minutes.
Got up this morning and WOW :o everything has gone white. We are forcasted to have heavy snow fall again today. :)
It looks as though the wintry weather is going to go on for a while. It hasn't been unusually cold, but it's certainly gone on a lot longer than we've been used to the last few years.
we had some snow flurries yesterday when i was busy trying to do work on the lottie which was a bit of a pain, it didnt stick either! :'(
Hailing and raining here today :( I carried on regardless chanting "THIS IS NOT SNOW, THIS IS WARM RAIN, SPRING IS HERE, DO NOT LIGHT THE PARAFFIN HEATER" And then I went home and lit a coal fire ::)
Didn't snow much today but we are forcast heavy snow tomorrow afternoon & Friday. ;D
Light snowfall here this morning. It's very small flakes, which indicates cold air - just below freezing, snow is sticky and that's when you get the big flakes. Nothing lying in the road though.
Seed snow earlier this morning here in Peterborough, over the last hour has thickened into clumpy flakes, falling fast and heavy.
snowing gently in South Cheshire but not sticking - probably means that about 10 miles away they have a dense covering
Slow steady snow fall in this part of Essex
Kids were thrilled on the walk to school
mum not so thrilled, had a day in her own garden planned for a change
housework now! :-\
No snow yet here in central Belgium but I know it's snowing 30 miles north of here. We had such a heavy frost last night it looks like it snowed and the garden is back to being frozen tundra again. I things go like the last couple of years, I don't expect a proper warm up till mid to late March. There isn't a single daff poking up its head yet and I do have loads. There are still some snowdrops and one or two crocuses and hyacinths have sent small shoots above ground. My winter flowering clematis cirrhosa has had buds on for weeks but none has opened yet since a short burst on Christmas day. Obviously feels the need to hibernate a while yet.
This is where it is................
The red triangle at the bottom of Wales is where we are. We are due really heavey snow today by 2pm. ;D
Well it is very noble of you to accept all this snow. Can you keep it there please? ;D ;D ;D
Boring old wind and rain here. >:( I would love some snow.
Been snowing here near Didcot all morning and showing no signs of stopping, but only just starting to settle.
I live at Didcot and work 3 miles away.. as you say, snowing heavily all morning, but we are all gutted as so far it's too warm :( Now it has almost stopped. :(
mat
loads of snow in Wantage. ;D.my 18month old daughter most excited!! nearly stopped now and nothing settled. :-[.not sure who is most disappointed!!
You really are welcome to it down south. We have had our share over the years, but for the last few years almost nothing ;D ;D ;D Although as I look over the hills in the distance I can see just a covering. It's just a nuisance as it is one of the few days I have not gone to the allotment because of the rain and wind.

We have a white out and blizzard conditions. We have had 5 cm's now. ;D
Various 'SNOT' all day.
Off to the Peak District tomorrow for 'Shrovetide' where they understand weather!
And the seasons are normal?
