I guys. Hope you are all keeping well.
I've been working on the nestcams for this coming season, but still have some work to do. If you click on my Birdiecam icon, and you might see something, or stick the URL in your favs. Don't expect miracles, as it is early days yet, but I did have a potential resident visit one of the boxes today.

Really loking forward to your birdie cam again this year Denis. :D Let's hope Bleep or one of her friends moves in so that we can watch the live action again. ;D
Really looking forward to watching your birds again, it was wonderful last year. We have a nestcam at school and the same, a bird has been in looking around. Hope you get a nest.
Oh yes, we never did get one, wow so the birds are already checking out boxes. nice one.
Hi Dennis, I will enjoy looking at the cams! Cheers, Dan
Bought my Mum & Stepfather one last year. Had great tits in it, laid eggs but then abandoned the box which was a huge shame. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it gets used this year.
I'm really looking forward to seeing your web cam in the days ahead. Thanks for sharing them with us Denis. ;)
Don't disturb the birds, it can make them desert.
I was going to remind you about this site Denis. ;D
Hello Bun. Not forgotten you. :D
More inspections today. ;)
Hi guys. Sorry I've not been around for a while, but been busy, and then had a bit of an accident last Friday eve. Will be out of action for up to 10wks, so not be able to do what I had in mind, re nestboxes. However, still have last years setup, so keep clicking, checking, and maybe we might get something. ;)
Mean't to say. You will probably find a cam focused on a feeder, which also happens to be the least busiest one, as it is at the back door, so there is always a bit of disturbance, but as soon as, if, I get a bird in, I will swirch to that cam. :)
Sorry to hear about your accident, thanks for letting us know , you just take care. We'll keep looking :)
It was great to watch Bleep and babies last year and see them all fly off happy and healthy :D
Take care of yourself hun ((((((((((((hug))))))))))
Hi Flower. You too m8. (((())))
Thanks Val. :-*
Sorry to hear about your accident and hope you will soon be better. I have been watching the blue tit feeding on the nuts and to think I can see it here in Wiltshire when you are in Northern Ireland is magic. ;D ;D
Looks like you have had some snow there today.
Hi Pauline. The snow you see has been laying for a couple of days now. just the sun never gets to that part. It is actually trying to snow now.
That feeding station is just one of twelve round the house. Home made fat balls, and peanuts at each one, and I throw some seed out on the ground for the ground feeders. Robins, finches, sparrows, etc. Very rewarding to have so many around. Glad you enjoy watching.
For those that don't know, Denis was hit by a car on the way in, I say on the WAY IN, to the pub!
Luckily, most of the bumps were on his head so no worries about brain damage! ;)
The Hospital also discovered, after 4 days, that he had also broken his ankle, that's why he wont be climbing any ladders any time soon.
Get well soon Denis. :-*
So sorry to hear about your accident, get well soon! Dan :-)
Loved your web cam last year. Hope you are soon back on the road of recovery after your accident. Take care and thank you.... Lorna.
Hi Denis,
Lovely to see you back here! ;D Sorry to hear about your accident, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Loved watching Bleep and babies last year, and wish you the best of luck for this season. :)
Thanks guys. (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a136/CliveGibney/BigHug.gif)

How exciting that the boxes are already being checked out :)

Bump
Just to update you.
Have had a bit of interest in boxes, but think it is all just the one bird. She has brought a bit of moss into cam4 box, so that is a promising sign. That is one of 2 boxes with three holes, which I wasn't sure would work, but time will tell.
Still having router trouble, so don't be dissapointed if you don't see any live action when you take a peep. I am working on it. In fact, I have just secured a D-Link modem from e-bay, and when I recieve it, I hope to set it up with a hub, so Clive can surf the net, and we can still watch the live feed as well. Fingers crossed for that.
Will update as & when. Early days yet.
Just to let you know. Been having loads of trouble with live stream. Have kinda given up on EasyFreeWebcam, and have been trialing Camstreams instead. It has been giving some trouble too, but hopefully it will work. Not as many features, but it looks like it will have to do for this season.
You can connect using this lnk. http://h2yoho.camstreams.com/
Looks like I've got residents, and have named them George & Mildred.
You can watch again, by clicking my siggie.
Fingers crossed.
Still not a lot happening, but hopefully by the end of this month.
Hi Guys. This has been a bit of a long drwan out affair this year, but I think I finally have it sorted. Click my siggie & see. Shouldn't be long till we have the eggs now, probably the beginning of May, so keep watching.
Denis
I love the nestcams ;D as you know i've watched it almost allday ;) Can't keep away.
Debby
Has anyone seen the bluetits going into the nest box yet? There's never anything going on when I watch. Are they busy fattening themselves up for the weeks ahead? :D
Pauline. Have a look now. Lots of activity
Lorna, I missed it! :( I had to go out this afternoon and have just got back. Perhaps tomorrow. :D
Pauline. After I posted that I was going to quickly send you a PM.... then noticed you were offline. Always tomorrow :)
Lorna, I have caught her in the box at last. ;D ;D I think she's taking a nap now. :D
Hi Pauline. Just got back from my regular Wed evening chat with my Grandsons girlgriends Nan (she is a young 83). Elsa my dog stays in the car as good as gold (4 hours) So glad you managed to see something on the web cam.
Lorna.
Another wee update.
We've named the pair George & Mildred.
Mildred laid her first egg on 3rd May, but on 4th, a sparrow raided, and stole two eggs. She laid another on the 5th, and had three yesterday. Don't expect another today, as she did a lot of brooding yesterday, but time will tell.
I expect chicks to hatch towards the middle of next week, so keep watching.
Chat is enabled, so please change your name to your username, and join the banter.
Makes for a nice family atmosphere.
Thanks.

George comes in to feed Mildred.
Just brilliant Denis, i was lay in bed last night thinking about you....ohhh errr...lol ;D
You see i had been watching my blue tit all day which has been for the the few days looking for greenfly and topping up with the odd sunflower seeds that i have out, he takes what he can carry and then i assume zooms off to where his Mrs is nesting.
Such great fun to watch, but also now puts me in mind of you ;)
I love the website and great webchat feature.
Shame that the eggs were stolen, very sad but thats nature i suppose :(
Do you think they are the same pair that nested last year?
Should be hatching any time now. :D
I've just seen both parents in the nest box together feeding their young. Thank you h2yoho for giving us the opportunity of seeing these wonderful birds. :D
Absolutely thrilling. Many thanks.
Lorna
Been dipping in and out to watch the progress - fascinating.
Thanks for setting this up and making it available to us.
You're all very welcome. I'm well pleased with the outcome. Makes it all worth while.
Not long till they fly now. The chicks hatched on the same day last year, 20th May and flew the nest on 8th of June, so that should be a good guide. ;)

Dennis, I just want to say thanks for all the entertainment and excitement I have had watching the birds these last few weeks. I did see them go this morning which was amazing to actually be there to say goodbye. Will you do it again next year? I do hope so.
