Now don't get me wrong. That is a very innocent picture. Unfortunatlely in some circles it called be called child porn. I would urge Dan to remove the picture and warn everyybody not to save it to their pc.
It is a very sad state of affairs that the innocent picture of a very happy looking child could be viewed in this way, but it is, and photographs of children are very dangerous things to put on a web site.
Sorry to be a killjoy. But a friend was stopped by a supermarket manager when she tried to take a picture of her grand daughter in a trolley. He said it was illegal and he was bound to report it if she carried on.
Did you also know that you cannot even take pictures if your kids in a school play nowadays.
This is just in case the pictures fall into the wrong hands.
Quotecalled child porn
"Oh GROAN"
I have seen worse than this on TV commercials advertising "kiddie nappies"
I don't consider this child porn but if it offends I will take it off?
Amazing that this was posted last February...why now!?
The reason why your friend was stopped was because it was the policy of that supermarket. You can take photos with the parents permission, but if another child comes into the background of your photo and you don't have their permission thats where the trouble starts. Many schools send out letters to inform parents photos may be taken and if one parent objects then no photos are allowed. Some school don't want the bother informing parents with letters as it makes more work so its just easier for them to ban.
Like I said, 'Don't get me wrong'. It does not offend me, I was just warning people that in this day and age you can get into trouble for storing it on your pc. Unfortunately somewhere in this world that picture means a lot more to some sicko than it does to us.
Quotejust warning people that in this day and age you can get into trouble for storing it on your pc.
That is pure rubbish!
Are you trying to tell us that having photos of this nature on our PC's is against the law?
I think you are a little too "politically correctum." I for one will not bow down to a minority of depraved perverts, who now along with the rest of the "Yob" culture, dictate our everyday walk in life in so many wicked way's
This innocent photo is exactly that and nothing more to the vast stable majority's mind.
Gawd almighty!!! What a hoo ha!!! ??? Great picture, Glyn. But I must admit I WAS hoping for the adult version! :(
