Who wants some tomatoseed.I have more than hundred tomatovariaties to swap.Just p.m. me,there are some intresting ones amoung the seeds. All kind of shapes and colour.
Hi Ruud, if you have any yellow or stripey ones I'd definitely be interested.
Tigerella, Sungold, Sunset, that sort of thing. Is there anything you want as a swap? I've got alsorts of veg and flower seed, mostly bog standards but a few rare toms and some white courgette. :)
Do you have anything interesting that would do well out of doors? If you have any of the Russian ones I'd be interested in trying those.
Hi,robert i have a lot of the russian ones, just p.m. me i will see what i can do for you,by the way those russian ones do very well outside.
Myrtle p.m. me i have what you want stripy ones.
Hi Tomatoseed,
Would you happen to have any beef tomatos (possibly ones that can be grown outside)?
Thanks,
Rob
:) Ruud, Thank you. The tomato seeds arrived today. So many and some I've never heard of! Again, thank you. :)
Mine arrived today; eight varieties, with details. Thanks, and don't be concerned about your English. My wife has a UK degree, she's just completing a postgraduate Social Work course, and she's doe it all with English as a second language, if not a third. Your English is better than hers.
Myrtle and robert,i hope you enjoy growing them, and if you like them just save some seeds. You can also give them away just dont let them extinct, they are so much better than those red waterbags you can buy in your local green grocery.
Hi Ruud
Hope I am not too late but do you have any Mirabella. I see that Pippa grew them and says they are the best??
Regards
Jitterbug ;)
I have every intention of saving seed, don't worry. Are they self-pollinated or is it a qeustion of bagging them and hand-pollinating?
My seeds arrived today. All I can say is a huge thank you to Ruud. They arrived with wonderful instructions and 6 varieties. Thank you again and I will be starting them soon. I hadn't heard of some of these varieties so look forward to seeing them. Thank you. ;D
They are self pollinated and they hardly cross.I always grow a lot of varieties and i never had a cross over. They sometimes mutaited but that is only the intrested side of growing them.
Thanks. That should be an easy one then.
Vanessa thanks a lot for the seeds they arrived well,i hope that mine are there soon.
You are very welcome ;) How is the cold with you? :o
it isnot so bad,but the weather forcast says that it will be cold next week minus 5,brrrrrrr.
So,that is it for this season.I am out of storage.I hope that everyone who gots tomatoseeds from my tomatoseedcollection have a lot of fun and luck in growing them and dont forget save some seeds for next year or better spread them amoung your friends.Dont let heritageseeds get extinct, otherwise you have to eat tasteless vegetables.Try my toms and you notice the differents, some are for more than 100 years in one family and that is not for no reason.
It's cold here in Birmingham as well; I'm not even thinking about planting tomatoes for another month. I'll be saving seed and offering it round later in the year, along with various other interesting vegetables I'm trying.
thanks ruud the seeds arrived today i was only expecting one type but wow u sent me four great ill definatly save some seed to send to others next yr thanks again mal
