OK,
Someone's got to be first to as
"What is it?"
Do you want a clue, Debs........it's made from scrap insulation material.
Hi Ken,
Is it a solar powered thingy?
A modern version of a haybox (hotbox)? Seeing as this is the recipes board ...
Youse getting warm. MkII might be solar powered :D
Have another go.
A prize to the first correct answer.
Tea cosy from bubble wrap??
MikeB
Then I would continue the reasoning and suggest it is a kettle/water heater, using the insulation as a radiant heat pump, in the same (inverted) way that a wine cooler works. The object being to pre-warm the water, thus saving energy.
:o
Arms are not long enough for small print anymore!! Wish the pic was bigger!
The suspense is killin me...
???
And I declare Mike B the WINNER...(another Norfolk lad, I see)......collect your prize here............http://www.yorkshiretea.co.uk/sample.asp?PrevPage=&PrevID=&FromPage=Story&FromID=%7B22303E7E%2DE4F8%2D4239%2DA82B%2D76B5E90FCACE%7D&storyid=%7BD7BFC8AD%2D78B9%2D48D4%2DA977%2DE4567256AB54%7D.............
................another picture to follow (again with a prize) which Curry should get...
The reason I managed to work it out Ken is that I went to save the picture so that I could enlarge it, and when I clicked on it it said teacosy.
A prize for the wrong answer?
And here I was thinking - since it was on your keyboard - that your mouse had premature babies and it was an incubator....? :P
;D ;D ;D
Hi all, sorry for the delay. It was a tea cosy and here is a larger size for kettles.
