Title: I have never seen one this colour.
Post by: joji on February 09, 2006, 15:42:32
I have a friend that takes care of wildlife out in the USA.

He sent me this picture today. The mother was killed by a car so he has taken this little guy in. :)

Albinos are usually supposed to be weaker, aren't they?
I too, hope it survives.

He is doing fine everyone. He is taking his bottle ok and he has a nice home to go to when he is a bit stronger. He will be kept with other orphaned fawns but will stay instead of being released into the wild.  :)

Not sure that albino's are weaker, rather they don't survive because they're not camoflaged.  Sometimes their eyes are affected and they are almost blind which makes them more vulnerable.

Unless of course they live in snowy conditions in which case, no problemo.
