Title: What a day!
Post by: Diana on February 09, 2006, 10:30:39
OK, so I've got my head down a whole, trying to fit a clamp to the bottom of a ground pole for a ploytunnel, and it starts snowing on me!

I really didn't need that  ::)

It has been snowing here aswell. I haven't been to the allotment yet.  I walk my son to school. It was blooming freezing. Snowing and an icy wind.  I'd just got back to the house,opened the door to hear the phone ringing. My son had forgotten his swimming gear. Grrr! Last thing I told him to do was get his swimming stuff...he would have been reading Beano's instead no doubt. I had to walk all the way back to school with his swim bag. Not impressed.  I really must get a hat with ear flaps.  I'm not too keen on going to the lotty now,had enough of the wind.

Hope you get your job finished soon Diana. Pesky wind. We were given some tubing yesterday and are now scratting about for the rest of the bits and pieces to make a polytunnel.

Hope you get it done Diana, it is frustrating when plans go awry.  After yesterday when it was a lovely bright sunny day, I decided to clean the ponds out today, but I'm in N.E. like Heldi, so also suffering from bitingly cold weather and the odd spattering of snow, so I am having second thoughts now.  :) busy_lizzie

i've got the day off waiting for the shed to arrive, which is exciting enough in itself, but the weather is absolute perfect up here in glasgow.

almost clear blue sky, no wind and is a wonderful spring like day.

have done an couple of hours clearing an overgrown border between my garden and next door and having a nice cuppa just now.

all the little birdies are playing nicely (but no tits strangely) BUT, i've got the hangover from hell and feel the need to lie down.  i shan't though and am going back out for round two in a mo.

you just can't waste days like these.

;D

Beautiful sunshine in Embra too but a piercingly cold northwind.
