Following on from a previous thread about holidays in Cornwall, I would be interested in your suggestions about which garden(s) to visit.
We are only there for a week in August and with everyone to please I imagine we will only get to one or two gardens, so I wondered which you all think is best to visit as there are so many, I don't know where to go. We are definitely going to the Eden Project, and will be staying near Helston.
Hoping someone can help...
Thank you.
Lamorran House Gardens is a must :o at Upper Castle Road St Mawes TR2 5BZ open Wednesdays, Fridays and 1st Saturday each month, a private Garden full of sub-tropical palm trees, exotic fish situated on a slope with a stunning sea view to St Antony’s headland. ;D

If you are going to the Eden Project (to which I have never been but hear mixed reports) then please go to The Lost Gardens of Heligan an absolutely stunning restored late Victorian shrub, flower and wonderfull kitchen garden. It is my favourite garden in England. :)
Eden's fun if you think of it more as a botanical theme park - sometimes the activities and education outweighs the horticulture. I'd definitely agree with Larkspur, Heligan is wonderful and the walled kitchen garden is gobsmacking! I'd also recommend the National Trust garden at Glendurgan, epecially if you're taking kids - the maze is great fun!

I absolutely fell in love with Trebah......delicious, and so friendly too, my dog loved it (we didn't do Heligan or Eden because of the dog - not allowed). Very special.
Also bought too many plants, which have done brilliantly!
