It's too early for planting yet, unless you've got something you can start indoors, without it's suffering for lack of light.
Thanks all for your answers and poimters but, its flower seeds i'm more interested in, something similar to the veg diary would be very helpful.

Usually by now I would have done....but the airing cupboard is choc full. Even for later I'm stumped as OH has filled the greenhouse with all kinds of junk! I despair!
However, I will put my foot down and get him to clear some space for seed trays (flowers), but probaby not until early March. There's still time.

I dont start sowing until the third week in febuary. I like to hold back until then. I only sow my half hardy flowers like dalhias and lobelias etc... Also my tomatoes for the greenhouse in about febuary 22nd.
Then in march its the big sow'n'grow. Everything gets sown around about then.
The idea is if you live up north then do not get to eager to start things off to early. There is plenty of time yet. Let the light levels increase.

Havn't sown a thing yet! Won't be doing so until thge beginning of March!
Neither will I, at the earliest. It depends on the weather.
Thanks again for all your replies!! it's not so much getting them started is it? it's having the places to keep them ALL warm n cosy!! My Wife has already donated part of the conservatory and her window sills, and the conservatory isn't heated full time anyways! so I'll hold back.
