Nice to see that Spring will soon be here, but I like Winter as well.  In fact I like all the seasons.  Every season brings a surprise, but still, roll on Spring and the arrival of the Swallows.    Sad eh?

I'm really glad the evenings are getting lighter now, it was lovely seeing a beautiful sunset at 5.00pm last night.  Won't be long till those balmy summer evenings...

Wonderful day here.  Spring certainly felt as though it was here when we walked on Whitley Bay beach this afternoon in the sunshine.  Frogs in the pond, little green shoots every where, lets hope Mother Nature doesn't play one of her tricks and give us snow next week. Was light at 5.30 pm today - it is getting better all the time.  :D busy_lizzie

A few bees were out on the snowdrops today, and I noticed some coming back with scraps of pollen on their back legs. It's the major brood food, and any at all is welcome this time of year.
