First of all thank you all for your encouragement and good wishes, nice to know that I have got so many friends. Well went to the doctors this morning and she was very worried about my breathing and booked me in the local hospital to have some x rays done, I had the longest hour wait in my life after the x rays waiting to hear the doctors verdict. Bronchitis what a bloody relief, crying with happiness here so relieved thank you once again everybody for your kind thoughts.
Thank you Thank you Thank you.
There you go, Richard. Understandably worried but the odds were in your favour.
Now, get thisen well, there's a plot to sort out!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Superb news!!!!!!!!!
Bronchitis can be miserable though, just take good care so that you are ready for the big March sowing!!!
:)
Excellent :)
And how great that the x-rays were taken & results were given pretty well straight away, eh? It might have been a long hour, but you were spared the long, long wait of hospital notifying GP who'd notify you to make an appointment.......and on, and on.
Again, great news & hope the bronchitis clears up soon, too :)
Really glad it is just bronchitis Richard, although it can make you feel quite rotten. At least you have plenty of time to plan all your plantings while you get yourself properly better. Don't be out there too soon and make yourself ill again! Take care.
That is brilliant Richard; not that bronchitis isn't very nasty, but at least they will be able to deal with it and you should be feeling fine before too long. Have been thinking about you all day. Now you just get resting, take the treatment and get better. :D busy_lizzie
Great News Richard! ;D Still, get well soon :D
Glad to hear that :)
Just for info: If you want to grow and use any of these lovely plants, they help to heal/sustain lungs and fight against viral infections.
Marshmallow (infusion - tea 3 times a day), Elderberry (tincture) and Roman Chamomile (tea) and garlic (natural antibiotic)

What a relief for you and yours, Richard - it's been said already but bronchitis is a miserable thing to have so don't treat it lightly.
Happy for you :)
Good suggestions from Trixie. I have a chest condition call bronchiectasis, and have to drain my lungs twice a day to keep them clear by pounding my chest, (sorry too much information, I know ;D ) and would also suggest fennel tea and max out on dark green veggies. Also for comfort use a steam inhalation with olbas oil or something similar. You can get a small electric vapouriser from Boots and the vapourising pads, it is good for overnight, beside your bed. Drink lots of water too and have lots of rest. Get well soon. :) busy_lizzie
:) good news Richard
Phew!
You've had a terrible scare Richard. Plenty R&R needed now to get yourself back to feeling fine.
Take it easy, bronchitis can knock you for six.
Helen x
i hope your mind is easier now, take good care, don't rush yourself.
That's good news Richard.
My best friend has just got over Bronchitis....she was well on the mend as soon as it was diagnosed.
Good luck!
CL ;)
Richard ;)
Great News.....So relieved for you...Take care Mate
OH I'm so pleased for you Richard! Not that Bronchitis is something to be pleased about but it's so much better than the dark fears that wake you in the night...
Take care. Don't overexert yourself and DON'T go out in the cold!! (You've been tellt ;)) A few more weeks browsing over catalogues won't do you any harm. :) :)
;D Well thats cleared your headache Richard ;) you can start contemplating your cabbage patch now ;D
So glad to hear you're going to be Ok. Look after yourself and make sure you're better by Spring.
Great news - take care of yourself.
So glad you have news to put your mind at rest, now you have to take it easy and get really well.Richard that was marvelous to get results straight away. I took my 20yr old Grandaughter for Xrays last Friday as her back and hips are playing up but we will probably have to wait for two weeks for the results. All a bit worrying as her 19year old sister had major surgery for scoliosis. Anyhow you look after yourself. Regards Lorna
Hi Richard,i am so relieved for you, i have just got over Bronchitus it knocked me sideways i can tell you, had to cancel my admission to hospital for heart treatment so i know how rotten you are feeling, get lots of rest and all good wishes for your speedy recovery take good care of yourself. ;D
Good to hear your news Richard. I didn't think it would be anything really serious unless you are a heavy smoker. If you do smoke Richard, now is the time to give up after this scare. If you are a non smoker, you should be fit fairly soon with stronger antibiotics. Get well soon Richard and don't overdo things.
