Daphne mezureum roseum, rather earlier than usual though.

Ours didn't survive the move when we had an extension built, I must get another one!  Enjoy the scent!

Wow I bet it smells great!  Love Daphnes.  Grandad has one....must call him to see if his is doing it's stuff yet.

Was going to save the berrries  for people last year, but the birds had them before I did. Behind it Tim is a Pyracantha, the fieldfares took the berries a long time ago.

Thanks, Eric - fooled me - ours is so tucked away that I seldom see the leaves -

Leaf: Alternate, simple, oblong to lanceolate, serrated margin, 1 to 2 inches long, evergreen, shiny, dark green above, paler and pubescent below.

Fieldfares - love them, but it's only once a year - if we're lucky - that they honour us.

Im a big fan of daphnes, they smell just wonderful!   :D
