The parsnip is looking very ladylike with her legs crossed! ;D
I managed to pick, Brussels, Enormous Swede, Carrots (though riddled with carrot root) Leeks, Black Radish, few Turnips (thought I had lost all my golden ball!) Beetroot, Huge Parsnips, and Mooli.
Stew tomorrow night then! ;D ;D ;D Now off to warm up my tootsies in a lovely bubbly bath!
Enjoy your stew...very jealous, only have leeks and parsnips now ;)
Fine crop you got there Doris ;D Enjoy your stew tonight............mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm can smell it from here ;D
It's one of the main reasons we do it, isn't it? :) :)
What a joy yo eat fresh and lovely veg with the odd worm or bit of rot... ;D ;D
That sweded looks curious! And turnips too! I failed miserably with both of those last year so I have new seed this and will be bothering you for advice!
And your mooli.....mine grew huge, but not down! Up and out. Also, I pulled the last 2 on Monday and they had rotted away. What variety was yours DP??
Excellent harvest DP, especially for this time of the year. I picked the last of my cabbages on Sunday and had just enough parsnips and sprouts for Christmas dinner. Only got leeks and spinach now, so my plot is looking very bare. Bet your stew tasted fab with all those goodies. :) busy_lizzie
2nds tonight BL, and it always tastes better the 2nd time around! ;)
EJ, what with moving house etc. my seeds are goodness knows where! :o When I find then I shall send you some :) DP
DP - don't you find that the bubbles go cold?? Sorry - diversion. But a short one? And a clean one!
;D ;D ;D Tim!
