He currently describes himself as an "ex-pat" :'( and doesn't log in here anymore. I'm hoping that this is temporary - fingers crossed :)
In the meantime, if you want his advice (re: pots.etc.) you can either mail him at home (if you have his addy) or PM me and I'll pass yr mesage on to him.
Cheers!
That's nice Alishka....I for one really miss his posts and advice :(
Was prompted to post because I'd just read the potato thread where Tim's advice was mentioned. Do hope that he finds he can return - if we're missing him now, just think how it's going to be when the season starts in earnest and even our potatoes end up pear shaped ::) ???
'Twas me who mentioned Tim. Please send him my best wishes. I for one would very much welcome his return. His advice at the very least.
Thanks Alishka
He will be such a miss this season. He was such a great contributor. I do hope Tim will come back and share all his great veggie growing knowledge again. Thanks for posting the info Lishka. Do you think a petition would do any good? :) busy_lizzie
I miss Tim's posts too and really wish he'd repatriate. He did log on today so perhaps there's hope yet.
Please come back Tim, you are greatly missed.
Yeah, I was searching for information on tillers, and the advice I found from Tim was invaluable. Our loss, definitely.
I WANT TIM TO COME BACK!
WHERE ELSE AM I GOING TO READ SUCH KNOWLEDGE?

He was a great comforter too....sometimes we all make mistakes
but he never put one down about it....always the optimist :) Please come back Tim :(
exactly..wisdom without patronising....a hard act to follow..........
...AND he was a great lover of food and cooking.
The courgette crown bread is a must for those who have not tried it
Hope you are well Tim, wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
All good wishes for a bountiful growing season

Feels like the boards are home again. :D
Tim
You and I have never really "conversed", so we're not the old chums you and lots of others are, and I'm not a sentimental sort of person, but I would have missed your wisdom and experience had you not returned.
Thank you
Just read this thread - I've said it already else where today, Tim, but I will repeat it because I am so pleased - Glad to see you back with us!
Emma, Roy and Tim all back - things are definitely looking up folks.......
Great to have you back Tim.....you have really made my day :-*
And welcome back from me,now it`s not that I caught up with some of the the posts and rushed to find phone numbers.
Thank you for coming back Tim, don't know why you left (I hadn't logged on for a while) but hope you never have reason to again. :)
great to see you back!! missed your posts recently.
Tim,
Welcome back!!
Debs :-*
Yay! Tim and Roy backin one post. Things are looking up ......
Didn't really get to know you too well before your sabbatical Tim, but from what I understand your knowledge is just what a newbie like me needs - so look forward to picking your brain sometime and getting to know you better too. Welcome back! ;D
PLEASE! - may I qualify that, & some other remarks?
I do NOT have a brain - & for knowledge read experience - like helping my market-gardening (ex-Army) father in Evesham, then Jersey, in the '30s, & later in Pembrokeshire. That taught me to love the soil.
The rest is easy - I just have more time than most to figure out an answer. And after 28 years in my 2nd career teaching crafts one-to-one, it is difficult not to interfere!!
Clear??
Clear Tim!
Interfere all you want! ;D
Clear. Good to read you again.
