Here are some pictures of my Amarilis which has recently come into flower. These were talen a few days ago juat as the first bloom came out. It is even better now!

Beautiful GC.  Lovely colour.  Reminds me, I've got a couple of bulbs I should plant up.

Beautiful photos both :)  Mine is just leaves this year, can't think why, it's the first year it has let me down :'(

Thats a very nice one too dandelion. Looks a bit like a lilly doesnt it?

GG: Mine is in its first year. Strange that yours is just leaf in the first year ???. it is (so i gather) the second year you are most likely to have no flowers.

Actually Richard, it is in it's third year, first two had lovely flowers.  Maybe I have neglected it a bit so it's punishing me this year ;D

I think you ned to keep it fed an watered after flowering  until it dies back. But of course you knew that aleady didnt you? :) ;) ;D
