Title: The Kelsae are up.....need advice please
Post by: gunnerbee on January 20, 2006, 18:58:59
Mine have just come up, they are in the kitchen window and are leaning towards the light slightly, will this make them too leggy? I have a greenhouse but it is unheated, what do i do now, any advice gratefully recieved.

Frankly I don't know cos I've never grown them, but I would just keep turning them meantime every couple of days until someone who does know gets back to you.
I think they would need to be acclimatised from windowsill to unheated greenhouse and I think it's maybe too early to do that. On the other hand you could use bubble-wrap etc to insulate the greenhouse.

No wait for more informed advice.

We seem to be having lots of conversations gunnerbee.  One way of stopping pointing so much towards the light is to put aluminium foil behind them so that light is reflected from the other side. It is an idea come up with by Geoff Hamilton some years ago.
