I'm inclined to think so, as I just love to see them dangling on the plant, so reckon that's where they'll stay for a while!! ;D
wow, that's amazing at this time of year! :o :D hmmm, roasted red peppers with feta :)
umm.... Feta's my favourite cheese! :D
Oooh I'd stuff them! Rice, onions, mushrooms, a bit of bacon if you aren't a veggie, herbs, bits and bobs left over in the fridge, and feta on top - YUM!!!!!
I've got a black pepper growing on the bedroom windowsill at the moment (don't ask!) but it isn't looking that good.
Magpie
Can you tell us how you got them to that point? They look yummy! I'm going to try peppers for the first time - they are yellow on the seed packet but I guess they all grow the same. Are they in a conservatory?
Wow...such a beautiful colour! :)
get stuffing with spicy beef or tomatoes, capers & garlic
They look perfect Di, can understand your reluctance to pick such beauties, but they are going to taste fantastic! :) busy_lizzie

Mmmmmm..
WOW They look great Di - don't blame you for wanting to appreciate them on the plant for a while. I have never been successful with peppers, always start going very black before I get any colour. Must be doing something wrong.
Hi Amanda
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you with info! They are growing in the conservatory. I sow them in late spring, grow on in the greenhouse over the summer, then bring them into the con to ripen up, and they still take forever to change from green to red!! ::)
They are my first attempt at California Wonder, but have also grown Sweet Aji, and Jalapeno. Can send you some seeds if you want to try a few different colours, shapes and sizes! :)
Best wishes
Di
Di - NO! please - don't cook such lovely, fresh things. Just munch them.
Gardengirl - many varieties go through a black stage - they are trying to breed it out.
