Title: Ordering potatoes
Post by: emma h on January 16, 2006, 18:50:06
I have just been looking on the Alan Romans site at potatoes. I want to order a few different types (earlies and lates).  Can they be ordered together, or is it better to order the later ones separately?

Order them at the same time as 9 times out of 10 they will ship them all together, thus saving on shipping.

Also they can be set out for chitting at the same time. Store them in a frost free dark spot, but not too warm until you are ready to get them going.

I would order them all together but go to a more established supplier such as Tuckers who have a larger selection and are cheaper for the seeds and the postage

Jerry    Loved your pictures.    I have picked up some good ideas.  Can you tell me which dahlias and asters you  grew.  Most impressive. If I missed the names on-line sorry.  M.

Maggie

Many thanks. The dahlias I grew from seed, Pompom and Cactus mixed. Both types from Tuckers seeds. They have set tubers so will carry on this year I hope.

The asters were chosen by my 3 year old daughter and I think, though and not certain, these were a T&M offering.
