Title: British Queen
Post by: thomasb on January 15, 2006, 22:39:34
I am deciding which potatoes I am interested in getting at a Potato-Day next weekend. One of the varieties I saw a write-up on was British Queens. In this article they said this variety was an early-maincrop. In other catalogues it is listed an a second-early.
Can anyone clarify which it is?
Does this variety store well?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Depends where you draw the line, both types kind of merge into one another ie. you can leave a 2nd early for a couple of extra weeks & you can dig early mains a couple of weeks early
